Shannon Pu has over 25 years of experience in PR and communications, having held both agency and in-house roles across Greater China, including positions at Citibank and Ogilvy Public Relations. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to strategic branding, integrated marketing communications, and issue management. As a seasoned communications trainer, Shannon has worked closely with C-suite executives from leading multinational companies, equipping them with the skills to navigate complex communication landscapes.
Currently, Shannon leads the business and operations of Shangs Communications Taiwan. Before this, she served as Archetype Agency’s Shanghai Technology Practice and Greater China Digital Lead, where she spearheaded the company’s social media strategy and helped clients achieve their communication and marketing objectives through digital innovation.
Shannon advises a diverse portfolio of brands across technology, finance, banking, consumer electronics, automotive, spirits, and FMCG sectors. Her key client experience includes Palo Alto Networks, NXP Semiconductors, STMicroelectronics, Akamai, and Dassault Systèmes, among others.
Shannon holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations from Syracuse University, New York, as well as an EMBA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and the National University of Singapore.
In addition to her consultancy work, Shannon is the creator and host of @shannononwork, a YouTube and Podcast series, and runs a popular Facebook fan page, where she shares insights on work, entrepreneurship, and personal growth while engaging with a community of professionals and thought leaders. She is also a bestselling author of three business books in Taiwan, inspiring professionals with her expertise in communication and leadership.
